This mug comes with a thumb rest which is great for everyone one, but especially appreciated by those with arthritis or who love the feel of unglazed clay. I use a light stoneware pottery when I throw these unique mugs. Each one is an artistic creation. I hand-throw on my wheel, carve and paint the flowers and the bee, then double glaze to give my mugs their unique look and feel. Each one has a forget-me-not painted on the handle base.
